The walk takes from 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace, even shorter if you are staying in the Congress Park section of the resort. Make sure you ask resort staff to direct you due to the size of the resort complex. As always, Disney also provides complimentary bus as well as boat transportation between the two destinations.
Is Disney Saratoga Springs a Deluxe Resort?
Disney Saratoga Springs Resort is considered a Disney Deluxe Villa resort since it has a category of Disney timeshare accommodations known as Deluxe Villas that are available to DVC points owners and guests.
Deluxe villas can be multi-room accommodations that are perfect for larger families or groups. With separate bedrooms, living areas, kitchens and an in-unit washer/dryer, these villas can take as many as 12 people depending on whether you use the pullout sofa bed.

It is less than a mile between the two destinations and the bus ride is only about five minutes. Due to the large layout of the resort, be sure to check with the Disney staff at Saratoga Springs to see what the closest bus stop is to your accommodation and the scheduled arrival times. Chances are you’ll be using the bus for the major theme parks as well.
How Many Treehouses are in Saratoga Springs?
The unique layout of Disney Saratoga Springs resort includes one of the most exceptional accommodation options at Disney World – the Treehouse Villas. Located just north of the main resort, these villas are tucked away in a wooded, secluded section of the complex. With timeshare villas featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms and full kitchen, this wonderful option is elevated among the trees to give you a sense of relaxation that is needed once you return home from the commotion of the theme parks.
With only 60 of these treehouse villas at Saratoga Springs, it is important to book early to give yourself the best chance to secure the accommodation. Keep in mind that the villas are about a 10-minute walk to the main resort and, due to the elevated design, there are steps needed to gain entry to the villas. Also – you’ll probably want to have a car with you to get around unless you don’t mind walking to the main resort to pick up the complimentary bus service in order to get around Disney.
How Much Does Saratoga Springs Cost?
Disney Saratoga Springs timeshare points cost $165 per point when purchased through Disney, with a 50-point minimum purchase. This is the price for new customers looking for DVC points, but Disney has been known to give discounts depending on the number of points purchased. That sounds nice until you break it down and it definitely doesn’t compare to the discounts you can get by buying Disney timeshares for sale on the resale market.
The discount from Disney is about $1600 for a 200-point purchase, which breaks down to about $8 per point. So for the sake of argument, that would be a per-point price of $157 from Disney.
On the other hand, Disney resale prices can be advertised for as little as $112 per point, which is a significant saving over the retail price.
To keep this in perspective, be sure to take a look at the number of points needed to stay in your timeshare accommodation of choice at Saratoga Springs.
