When Was Club Wyndham National Harbor Built?

Constructed in 2010, Club Wyndham National Harbor provides a variety of condo-style accommodations ranging from one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom configurations among its 250 units.

How Can I Sell my Wyndham National Harbor Timeshare?

Fortunately, you’ve come to the right place to find out how to sell a Wyndham National Harbor timeshare, as we are a Wyndham featured reseller, vetted by the company as a trusted provider of timeshare resale services.

As a licensed timeshare resale broker, we function similar to a traditional real estate operator with no upfront fees in order to list and sell a timeshare. Brokers employ licensed agents who specialize in timeshares to promote the ownership, work with a network of brokers around the country to find buyers and handle the negotiation on behalf of the seller. Once a deal is reached, the agent will prepare the purchase agreement, obtain signatures, collect and escrow the deposit from the buyer and transition the deal to a closing company to be finalized.

Sellers can also sell their Wyndham timeshare themselves, either using their own methods or using a timeshare resale advertising service. You could try promoting on social media or letting family and friends know you are selling your timeshare, but you’ll have to handle everything yourself. When using a resale advertiser, they are using online marketing to find buyers. The main drawback is that you pay for the advertising in advance, so you would have upfront out of pocket expenses regardless of whether or not you sell your timeshare.

Because Wyndham does not have an in-house resale department, they do not sell timeshares on the resale market on behalf of owners. They will refer you to one of their featured resellers which, as previously mentioned, we are one. So, call us or contact us here for a no cost consultation to find out how to sell.

Can You Get Out of a Wyndham National Harbor Timeshare?

There are a few ways to get out of a Wyndham National Harbor, depending on how long an owner has owned the timeshare.

If an owner has purchased their timeshare directly from Wyndham, they will have a recission period when they can get out of the ownership. Since Wyndham National Harbor is located in Maryland, the recission period is 10 calendar days from the purchase date according to Maryland state law. An owner can cancel their agreement if they submit their request in writing to Wyndham within the 10-day period, but the specific process will be outlined in the purchase contact so refer to your agreement and follow the procedure to the letter.

If your ownership is outside the 10-day period, the decision is up to Wyndham whether to allow you out of your agreement. Wyndham has created a department called Wyndham Cares to handle questions and requests for a Wyndham timeshare cancellation. Owners will need their timeshare to be mortgage-free with all annual fees paid and up to date just to be considered for an exit. The program is geared to long-term owners with financial or health-related issues and no compensation is provided for owners looking to give it back.

For owners looking to get something back for their ownership, Wyndham will refer you to their featured resellers in order to sell your timeshare. As we are a Wyndham featured reseller, you are in a great place to find out how to sell so contact us by clicking here for a no cost consultation.

One group to avoid are the self-proclaimed timeshare exit companies who claim to be able to get owners out of their timeshares. These companies charge large upfront fees as high as $10,000 to owners to do basically the same thing that an owner can do themselves – contact Wyndham to request an exit. The big different is that an owner can do this at no cost. Plus, these companies have come under legal scrutiny by the courts so it’s best to stay away from them.

Which Attractions are near Wyndham National Harbor?

Wyndham National Harbor is located in a uniquely developed, multi-use district called National Harbor with restaurants, shops, bars and marina located in Maryland on the banks of the Potomac River. The marina waterfront area features the Capital Wheel ferris wheel, carousel merry-go-round and several restaurants and water-based activities such as boating and kayaking on the river.

In the warmer seasons, ferry service can take visitors across the river to historic Old Town Alexandria, Mount Vernon (George Washington’s home) and along the river into the tidal basin in Washington D.C. – about 10 miles away. Shuttle buses can take guests from National Harbor over to the King Street metro station in Alexandria, from which visitors can not only explore the colonial history of town but take the metro subway into Washington.

Once in Washington, some of the most iconic attractions in America include the Washington Monument, White House, Lincoln Memorial, Capitol Building and Smithsonian Museums.
