Westgate Las Vegas: The World’s Most Iconic Timeshare

Westgate Las Vegas Feature

Did you know that one of Las Vegas’s most iconic, historic hotels is a timeshare? The Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino is the place where Elvis Presley changed Vegas entertainment forever. Even now, the resort remains a fixture of Las Vegas and offers legendary entertainment, world-class amenities, and an experience unlike any other timeshare we offer.

The History of Westgate Las Vegas

The Westgate Las Vegas Hotel was opened in 1969 as the International Hotel. At the time, it was the tallest building in Nevada, and the place to be in Vegas. Befitting its name, it attracted guests from across the world, many of whom wanted to see the resort’s star attraction: the King himself. Elvis Presley had a legendary residence of 639 consecutive sold-out shows at the International Theater!

In the 1971s, the International Hotel became the Las Vegas Hilton, and by 1981, it was the largest hotel in the world! Other hotels have since surpassed it in size, but it remains an iconic destination, even after becoming a Westgate property in 2014.

Today, the Westgate Las Vegas has over 2,956 rooms, a 95,000 sq ft. casino, and the world’s largest race and sports book. No other timeshare can match Westgate’s central location and rich history. Plus, though Elvis has long since left the building, you can still find legendary entertainment, including a residency by Barry Manilow!

Timeshare Titans

Westgate is one of the most well-known and respected timeshare brands in the world. Learn more about them below!

Welcome to Fabulous Westgate Las Vegas

The Westgate Las Vegas’s convenient location makes it the perfect hub for any Vegas getaway. The resort is just 10 minutes from Harry Reid International Airport and has its own stop on the Las Vegas Monorail, providing convenient access to the entire city. An underground Loop tunnel connects the resort with the nearby Las Vegas Convention Center, while shuttles can take you to places not covered by the monorail. Of course, with all the on-site offerings at Westgate Las Vegas, you may not want to leave!

An Iconic Casino

Westgate Las Vegas’s 95,000 sq ft. casino offers all the classic casino games. You can try your luck in one of the regular slots tournaments, play at one of the seven poker tables, or try classic table games like blackjack, roulette, craps, and baccarat. Just remember to play responsibly!

The casino’s biggest attraction, in both scale and popularity, is Superbook: the world’s largest race and sports betting venue. This 30,000-square-foot venue displays live games and horse racing in glorious 4K HD on a massive 220-by-18 ft video wall! It’s the next best thing to being in the stadium. There are also VIP areas available for parties, with smartphone charging stations and a complimentary food-and-drink credit equal to the price of your rental.

Live Shows at the International Theater

International pop superstar Barry Manilow has called the Westgate Las Vegas home since 2021, performing hits like “Copacabana”, “Could It Be Magic?”, and “Mandy” on select nights. This musical spectacle is a must-see, and tickets sell out quickly. However, Mr. Manilow isn’t the only star performer at the Westgate.

If you’re a fan of magic, you have to catch The Magic of Jen Kramer. Kramer is one of the young superstars of magic, having appeared on shows like Penn & Teller: Fool Us. She was even voted the Best Magician in Vegas in 2024. Kramer is an icon who combines humor and charm with mind-blowing illusions, making for an unforgettable evening.

If you want to inject some soul into your Vegas escape, the Soul of Motown show is a must-see. Consistently rated one of the top shows in Las Vegas, this cabaret-style performance covers hits from Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, and many more. The performers here have incredible passion and energy, and your stay at Westgate Las Vegas isn’t complete without a night of soul at the Westgate Cabaret.

There are so many other performers that frequent Westgate Las Vegas, with an ever-changing selection of musical artists and comedians taking the stage. There are also two tributes to Elvis: a cabaret tribute performance and an intimate meet-and-greet with his brother and bodyguard, David Stanley. Plus, with plenty of free entertainment around the property, you’ll never be bored at Westgate.

Delicious Dining at the Westgate Las Vegas

We all gotta eat, and Westgate Las Vegas offers some of the best bites in town. Whether you’re craving a steak or want your dinner with a show, the dining options here are sure to satisfy. They also have room service!

We’ll begin our culinary tour at the world-famous Benihana. This is the place that put teppanyaki on the map. It’s where skilled chefs combine their cooking skills with spectacular showmanship to delight all the senses. As you dine, surrounded by koi ponds and Japanese decor, you won’t be able to take your eyes off the savory spectacle in front of you. The food is delicious too!

Edge Steakhouse offers Prime cuts of meat in an elegant setting. The menu here is prix fixe, pairing wine, caviar, and delectable sides with cuts of filet mignon and Domestic Wagyu. Consider ordering a side of blistered shishito peppers with your steak. These green peppers have a mild, slightly sweet flavor that is only a little spicy. That is, unless you find one of the rare ones. There’s a one-in-ten chance you’ll get a hot one! Though don’t worry: they’re still milder than a jalapeño, even at their hottest. But it’s not Vegas without a little gambling, right?

There are other restaurants at the resort, including Fresco Italiano, Rikki Tiki Sushi, and fast options like a food court and dirty soda shop. No matter what you’re craving, you’re sure to find something to scratch that itch.

Pools, Spas, and Recreation

No stay at a luxury resort is complete without a visit to the pool. The pool at Westgate Las Vegas resort is a sparkling oasis, surrounded by lounge chairs and daybeds. Take time to enjoy a cocktail from the pool bar, or rent a cabana for the ultimate poolside experience.

Want to look and feel your best? Serenity Spa and Salon offers a menu of treatments designed to bring out your inner glow. Melt away the stress of travel with a massage, or rejuvenate yourself with a hydrofacial. Add some glamor to your stay with hair, nail, makeup, and waxing services, and you’ll be ready to dazzle as you explore Vegas’s famous nightlife.

Prefer outdoor activities? Westgate’s pickleball and tennis courts are the perfect way to work up a sweat. You’ll find all you need to get started at the pro shop. If you prefer golfing, the nearby Las Vegas Country Club has some of the best golf in the city. Or you can keep up your wellness routine with a stop at the fitness center.
