Holiday Inn Club Vacations Las Vegas — Desert Club Resort

Holiday Inn Club Vacations Las Vegas Feature

Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world. Even if you’re not a gambler, there are endless activities and attractions for the whole family. If you’re looking for a family-friendly resort, Holiday Inn Club Vacations Las Vegas property, the Desert Club Resort, is perfect for you. Here’s all you need to know about this incredible timeshare resort.

An Oasis in the Nevada Desert

The Desert Club Resort isn’t your typical Vegas hotel. It’s much more in line with resorts you’d find at other popular destinations, providing a comfortable, relaxing experience in one of the most overstimulating cities in the world. This is a resort for families, though adult travelers who need a break from the chaos of the Las Vegas Strip will find plenty of things to enjoy.

As a part of Holiday Inn Club Vacations, Desert Club Resort is one of 24 Holiday Inn timeshares in the United States and Mexico. With Timeshare Broker Associates, you can buy Holiday Inn Club points at a huge discount, netting you access to resorts in Orlando, Gatlinburg, Myrtle Beach, and even Cancun!

Holiday Inn Club Vacations Las Vegas Accommodations

If you’ve never stayed at a timeshare resort, you’re missing out. Timeshares aren’t just hotels: they combine the convenience of a resort with the comforts of home. Each suite is laid out like a small apartment, with separate bedrooms and living areas, a full kitchen, a garden tub, and a washer and tumble dryer. Each bedroom sleeps two, and the living area sofa pulls out into a bed, allowing up to two additional guests per unit.

Families will love the 2-bedroom options, which can comfortably sleep six. The 2 Bedroom Standard and 2 Bedroom Deluxe are similar in size, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living area. The Deluxe version features more space between the bedrooms and bathrooms, and turns the smaller bathroom into an en suite.

The 2 Bedroom Villas are a double unit with mirrored layouts. That means two living areas, two kitchens, and two balconies. They’re ideal if each part of your party wants its own space. However, the most luxurious option is the 2 Bedroom Signature Villa. In addition to the premium interior, Signature Collection Reserve rooms feature personalized concierge services, room service, discounts on show tickets and transportation, complimentary newspapers, and a console with new-release games.

Pools, Game Room, and Activity Center

Holiday Inn Club Vacations Las Vegas features five outdoor pools, each offering a different experience. The Main Pool, for instance, has two fountains and views of the nearby High Roller observation wheel. The Tiki Tide Pool features playful water fixtures that kids will love to splash in, while the Calming Fountain Pool is ideal for quiet swims.

For indoor fun, check out the Game Room and Activity Center. The Game Room features arcade hits like Jurassic Park Arcade, along with claw machines for kids looking to test their luck and skill. The Activity Center offers books, board games, and rec room activities like ping pong and pool. They also host regular activities like yoga, bingo, and craft workshops.

If you need a workout, the resort’s two fitness centers have you covered. Each includes treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, dumbbells, and more. Each treadmill is equipped with a TV, so you can catch up on your favorite shows while running!

Gold Mine Bar & Grill

Prospector Joe’s Gold Mine Bar & Grill is the on-site restaurant at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Las Vegas, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There’s an eclectic menu here, offering burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and classic dinner entrees like Surf & Turf. There’s also a grab-and-go market, if you’re looking for a quick snack before you head out on your adventures.

Attractions Near Holiday Inn Club Vacations Las Vegas

Holiday Inn Club Vacations Las Vegas Desert Club is located near some of Nevada’s most popular attractions. The resort is fifteen minutes from the Las Vegas Strip on foot, and is just a short walk from LINQ Station, so you can catch the monorail to some of the city’s biggest casinos and venues. Here are a few highlights you can look forward to.

The LINQ Promenade

The LINQ Promenade is a shopping, dining, and entertainment destination that’s just a short walk from Holiday Inn Club Vacations Las Vegas. There’s plenty to do here, from booking a helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon to taking in the sights with the High Roller observation wheel. However, one of the star attractions might surprise you. Anyone up for some bowling?

Brooklyn Bowl is so much more than a bowling alley. This three-story complex is also an indie concert venue, highlighting artists such as Mariah the Scientist, BOYS LIKE GIRLS, Flo Rida, and Billy Idol. It’s become a stop on some artists’ national tours, thanks to the underground club atmosphere. Though, don’t be mistaken: there is absolutely bowling, and it is fantastic.

The club atmosphere doesn’t disappear once you get to the bowling alley. Each of the 32 lanes at Brookyln Bowl features large Chesterfield sofas and food service by NYC’s Blue Ribbon. High-definition screens over the pins mean you don’t have to miss the show during your game.

The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace

The Forum Shops at Caesars are some of the most extravagant things you’ll see in your life. At first glance, it’s just a fancy-looking mall. It even uses the ubiquitous Simon Malls branding you’ve likely seen before. However, that elaborate Roman-style decor isn’t just a facade: step inside, and you’ll be transported to another world.

You’re most likely to enter through the newest section of the mall: a three-story shopping arcade featuring a spiral escalator. Everything is decked out in classical style, with faux-marble statues, domed ceilings, and Corinthian columns. However, things get really interesting once you head further into the mall, and the ceiling seems to disappear!

The bulk of the mall features hand-painted ceilings designed to look like the sky, carefully lit to simulate the time of day outside. It creates the illusion that you’re walking through a painting of an ancient Roman street. Granted, ancient Roman streets didn’t have a temple dedicated to Balenciaga, but you don’t go to Vegas for historical accuracy.

One of the more spectacular features of the Forum Shops is the Atlantis Show, located near the Cheesecake Factory. As an aside, this is the only place you’ll ever see that makes a Cheesecake Factory look understated. The Atlantis Show is a free animatronic performance set over a 50,000 aquarium. Watch in awe as King Atlas decides which of his children will take the throne of Atlantis. Spoiler: It doesn’t end well for Atlantis.

Sphere

You can’t miss the Sphere. It’s constantly looming over Holiday Inn Club Vacations Las Vegas, occasionally peaking over the roof with cartoon eyes. This spherical spectacle has become a highlight of the Vegas Skyline, but what exactly is it?

Imagine an IMAX theater. We don’t mean the kind at your local movie theater either: we mean the real, enormous ones you only see at science museums. The ones with the sixty-foot-tall screens. Imagine one of those, but bigger. A lot bigger. Like, almost five times bigger. This is the largest and highest-resolution screen on the planet.

Naturally, a screen this big doesn’t have a ton of content made for it. In fact, you’ll only see one movie at this theater, but it’s a big one. The Wizard of Oz at Sphere transforms the classic film into a larger-than-life experience, allowing Dorothy and friends to break free of the standard aspect ratio and enter an immersive, high-definition world. In-theater effects add to the spectacle, making this one show you don’t want to miss.

If you prefer live entertainment, you’re in luck. Sphere offers a rotating series of residencies by iconic artists, including No Doubt, Phish, and the Backstreet Boys. New in 2026, you can catch Metallica’s Life Burns Faster residency, running from October 1 to March 13. Metallica is famous for their No Repeat Weekend tradition, meaning you’ll hear two completely different setlists depending on when you go!
