The resort is 22 miles south of Bend, 50 miles to the town of Sisters (a must see experience) and 28 miles from Mount Bachelor Ski Resort with its sight seeing chairlift ride to the summit.  Other site seeing attractions include the High Desert Museum, Newberry National Volcanic Monument, Lava Butte, Lava River Cave and the Big Obsidian Flow.  You will find over 20 golf courses in the area. Quail Run Golf Course, with white sand traps, ponds, and tree-lined fairways provide some of the lowest green fees in Central Oregon, just 3 miles from the resort.
