Chicago Timeshare

A Chicago timeshare vacation is a popular option for visitors traveling to this amazing city. Year-round you'll find options for sporting events, shopping, dining, museums, and other top Chicago attractions; however, each season brings its own climate, from the heat and humidity of a Chicago summer to the snowfall and gusty winds of winter on Lake Michigan.

If you are looking for things to do for the entire family while visiting your Chicago timeshare, you'll find no shortage of kid-themed activities and events. You can head out for a day of fun at Navy Pier & Centennial Wheel, or head out on the lake for an hour-long Pirate Cruise..... Read More

The city's museums include several that cater to young vacationers such as the American Girl Place, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Chicago Children's Museum, and the Field Museum of Natural History. Science-minded and older kids might also enjoy trips to the Adler Planetarium and the Shedd Aquarium.

The View from Above

The great thing about many of those attractions is they can be as interesting and fun for parents as they are for the kids. No visit to your Chicago timeshare would be complete, though, without visiting Chicago 360 at the top of the Hancock Building to see the complete panorama of the city from 1000 feet above the ground. Other great views can be found along Lakeshore Drive, which runs along Lake Michigan and offers a clear view of both the Chicago skyline as well as picturesque vistas over the lake.

Shopping, Food and More

At ground level you'll have access to the city's famous shopping, dining, and nightlife, which runs long after the sun sets. The famous Chicago deep-dish pizza is a must, as are the steakhouses and shops along Michigan Avenue and the "Loop". Michigan Avenue is where you'll find famous buildings like the John Hancock Center, the Wrigley Building, and the Tribune Tower. At night, this district also offers theaters, comedy shows, and live music and entertainment throughout the year. Other evening activities can be found at any Chicago sports venue, from the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field to the Bears at Soldier Field.

When to Visit

The winter months from November through March are the slowest time for tourism in Chicago. Dense snowpack and cold temperatures drive away many warm-weather travelers during this season, although even these months have brief periods of high activity, especially near the holidays of Christmas and St. Patrick's Day. The shoulder season runs both spring and autumn, with a clear tourism peak of June through August. As you visit your Chicago timeshare, however, you'll find that the great thing about the Windy City is there are enough indoor and outdoor attractions for any time of year.
