Lahaina Timeshare

Located on the western side of the Hawaiian island of Maui is the small town of Lahaina. It has interesting features, but is mainly famous for its nightlife and excellent restaurants right on the ocean side. Owning a Lahaina timeshare is a great choice for those who love to travel.

During the day, for beach activities many visitors go to Kaanapali, but after sunset there is no place like Front Street at Lahaina. The Old Lahaina Luau is considered the most authentic Hawaiian luau in the state.

Its Halloween Party is attended by thousands of people from all over the world and the costumes are spectacular. Front Street, the main stretch for restaurants, nightclubs and art galleries, is closed to traffic on October 31. Other events include the Vic-Maui Yacht Race, from Victoria, BC, Canada to Lahaina. It is the longest in the Western Hemisphere. Every November the Lahaina Civic Center hosts many top NCAA basketball teams, and every January the PGA Tour’s Mercedes-Benz Championship is held at the Plantation Course at Kapalua.

Wonderful History and Culture

There is plenty to see for history aficionados during their Lahaina timeshare holiday on the Historical Walking Tour. It’s not necessary to visit all 62 historic sites, but you can choose what you want to see when you get a guidebook at the starting point, the Old Lahaina Courthouse. The giant Banyan Tree, Lahaina Prison and the Baldwin Home are must-see places. The Banyan tree is more than 400 years old and the largest in the world.

The art scene is not only comprised of local, ocean-themed art. Lahaina is home to world-famous galleries and many renowned artists have dedicated galleries such as Wyland and Peter Max. Friday evenings between 7 pm – 10 pm are dedicated to Art Night with special events and visits from the artists.

Hit the Harbor

The harbor is the most important on West Maui. You will find whale-watching cruises, deep-sea fishing, sunset cruises and many more activities that originate from the harbor. Kids love visiting the replica of a whaling ship the Carthaginian 2 at the Lahaina Small Boat Harbor. If you prefer to avoid boats, you may be interested in the Sugar Cane Train, the only train trip in Hawaii. It travels from Lahaina to Kaanapali and back and offers a dinner train trip.

Lahaina may be a hot spot for tourists, but it has been a hot spot for locals long before tourists discovered its charms. You can enjoy your Lahaina timeshare any time of the year without worrying about hotel rates rising during the summer or winter seasons. If you want to trade it for a comparable timeshare somewhere else, you won’t have any trouble finding someone who wants to visit Lahaina.
