Shopping, dining, and golfing can all be found in abundance. The SkyWheel along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is a must, and some of the best golf courses in the United States are located near Myrtle Beach. If you are planning a golfing vacation you will be able to make the most of your time here.

Outdoor Fun for the Family

If you've brought the kids along, A Place at the Beach - Windy Hill is close to several fun family destinations. Family Kingdom Seaside Amusement Park has entertained generations of families with its roller coasters and other rides and across the street, its sister park, Splashes, offers a wild waterpark adventure.

The Pavilion was a staple of Myrtle Beach vacations for many years, and after its closure, many of the rides and games were relocated to Broadway at the Beach, making that hub a good stop for a day of wholesome fun and entertainment. The area also has many arcades, parks, and beaches where you can take the family out for a day of nonstop fun.

And of course, no trip to North Myrtle Beach would be complete without enjoying its many water sports, beaches, and aquatic fun. You have plenty of options, whether it is a sailing adventure, a chartered fishing boat to catch dinner to cook on the resort outdoor grill, or a peaceful kayak tour through the waterways. Plus, you'll find many companies offering jet ski rentals, and other water sport rentals during your visit if you want to continue to enjoy or learn a new water sport such as parasailing or snorkeling.

Best Times to Visit

Summer is by far the most popular season to visit and enjoy these North Myrtle Beach timeshares. The peak tourist season runs from May through August, and during these months you can expect bright sunshine and hot afternoons which are perfect for taking a swim in the Atlantic Ocean, diving into the resort pool, or taking the kids to a waterpark. This season also has the most vibrant nightlife, with many live music performances in parks and at Broadway on the Beach.

Spring hovers close behind summer in popularity. Spring Break weeks in March are especially popular with families and young travelers looking to enjoy their holiday on the beach. If you are planning on visiting during those weeks, you will be sure of having plenty to see and do, and a vibrant scene all around you.

By contrast, fall and early winter are relatively quiet in North Myrtle Beach. The weather is sometimes a little too chilly to enjoy swimming and water activities, but the cooler air is idyllic for golfing, walking, and spending time on some of the other outdoor attractions. If you are looking to enjoy Myrtle Beach without its summer crowds and excitement, you may want to consider traveling from September through November.
