The most popular hangout place for owners of these New York City timeshares is at the sophisticated 33rd Floor Sky Lounge which has both indoor and outdoor seating and excellent views of Manhattan and its skyline.

Other amenities include on-site laundry, a 24-hour fitness studio, and private meeting places both onsite and across the street through a partnership with the Convene Conference Center. Luggage delivery service is also available for a fee.

Exploring From Your New York City Timeshare

Statue of Liberty

Since the resort is within easy walking distance of Grand Central Station, itself a tourist stop well worth a few photographs, the entirety of New York City awaits any vacation owner staying there.

Couples especially love the opportunities these timeshare resales bring for exploring New York City's many tourist attractions, shops, nightlife, and entertainment venues, but it can also be a fun getaway for the entire family, with stops at the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Broadway, and the Empire State Building.

Daytime Activities and Attractions

9 11 Memorial

Wyndham Midtown 45 is perfectly located for exploring Manhattan and New York City in general. The United Nations Headquarters is practically next door, and tours are offered for visitors on a regular basis. For shoppers, Madison and Fifth Avenue is a paradise not to be missed, with its myriad stores, deals, and unexpected finds. The same could also be said of the SoHo shopping district.

The area near the property is also home to some of the world's most famous and beloved museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum, and the American Museum of Natural History.

Bryant Park is very close to the hotel and has many options for spending an afternoon with its walking paths, Carousel, and people watching. The New York Public Library is next door to Bryant Park and is open daily to visitors.

Business travelers will appreciate the resort's close proximity to the Manhattan business district, Wall Street, and nearby conference centers. Plus, that same proximity to mass transit and taxi options means making the most of any downtime during a business trip to catch the sights and revisit favorite attractions.

Evening Activities

Times Square

Times Square hums with activity both day and night. At night you can see it lit up, and enjoy dining, drinks, and the nightlife of Midtown to your heart's content.

Broadway and its nightly theatrical delights are just a short taxi or subway ride away from Wyndham Midtown 45, and not to be missed for either the frequent or first-time New York visitor. The evenings are also when you can catch concerts at Carnegie Hall or find a new favorite restaurant to dine at in a city famous for cuisine from all around the world.

Family Activities

Empire State Building

Parents who are thinking of New York City as a perfect place to take the kids will find that there is a lot to do here while staying at Wyndham Midtown 45. Many of the museums are fascinating for all ages and even kids will love taking an elevator ride up to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building and looking down at the city below.

Battery Park, on the southern tip of Manhattan, offers excellent views of the Statue of Liberty, but for the best experience, you can take a boat tour to Liberty Island, see it up close, and also explore the rich history of American immigration at Ellis Island.

Central Park is also just a short ride away from your timeshare, where kids can enjoy the sights of the Central Park Zoo, visit the statue of the heroic sled dog Balto, and enjoy a nice day outside. During the winter months, the Times Square ice rink is another delightful place to take the entire family on an outing.

Best Times to Visit

Depending on your vacation priorities, there are a variety of best times to use your timeshare at Wyndham Midtown 45. If you are planning on visiting the most popular tourist attractions, such as the Empire State Building, it's worth knowing the busiest times in advance and planning around them if you can.

The summer months from June until August tend to be especially busy, especially for families traveling with children. Tourism peaks again in the weeks immediately preceding the Christmas holiday when visitors pack in to see the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center and also for New Year's Eve at Times Square.

If you mostly want to visit the museums and tourist attractions, it might be worth planning a visit during the spring or early fall, when lines tend to be shorter and the weather is still warm enough to enjoy time outside. Those two times of year are the shoulder seasons for New York City timeshares.

The quietest time of year, if you are willing to put up with chilly temperatures minus the seasonal attractions, is in January and February. Colder weather limits the number of outdoor activities that you can plan on doing, but the indoor attractions are open year-round and will be much less crowded during these two months.

No matter when you visit, these Wyndham timeshares in New York will welcome you and your family like a second home.

Because of the variety of vacation ownership programs offered by Wyndham, there are a number of ways you can own at Wyndham Midtown 45. If you have any questions or need more information, click here to message us or call 877-624-6889 so one of our licensed agents can answer your questions.
