Spring festivals are in full tilt in many areas of the country, with others coming up on the calendar as northern parts of America thaw out from the winter. Many of these events take place in popular timeshare destinations, so we’ve compiled a list of spring festivals and events to check out if you are in these towns or planning a timeshare vacation in the next few months.
This world-renowned festival takes place in Washington D.C. every spring, commemorating the amazing trees given to the U.S. by Japan in 1912. This is considered a rite of Spring in Washington, as the cherry blossoms flower for an incredible site along the Tidal Basin and around the D.C. monuments known the world over.
Cultural events, food trucks and fun are a big part of the celebration and well worth the trip, especially as the weather warms up and gives you an opportunity to stroll along the Mall before the hot summer weather hits.

Food stalls and fun are waiting for you, and this is the perfect time to visit as the daytime weather in expected in the mid-80s, with lows in the mid-50s – just before the really hot temps set in.

Contests to declare the best syrup, candy, and other themed treats are on display, with antiques, crafts and specialty food to be sampled. There is even a parade and music acts on a stage on Main Street.
