Spring festivals are in full tilt in many areas of the country, with others coming up on the calendar as northern parts of America thaw out from the winter. Many of these events take place in popular timeshare destinations, so we’ve compiled a list of spring festivals and events to check out if you are in these towns or planning a timeshare vacation in the next few months.
This world-renowned festival takes place in Washington D.C. every spring, commemorating the amazing trees given to the U.S. by Japan in 1912. This is considered a rite of Spring in Washington, as the cherry blossoms flower for an incredible site along the Tidal Basin and around the D.C. monuments known the world over.
Cultural events, food trucks and fun are a big part of the celebration and well worth the trip, especially as the weather warms up and gives you an opportunity to stroll along the Mall before the hot summer weather hits.

Food stalls and fun are waiting for you, and this is the perfect time to visit as the daytime weather in expected in the mid-80s, with lows in the mid-50s – just before the really hot temps set in.

Contests to declare the best syrup, candy, and other themed treats are on display, with antiques, crafts and specialty food to be sampled. There is even a parade and music acts on a stage on Main Street.

Held at the Fremont Street Experience, this is a series of free concerts held on various dates between April 23 through mid-November, so there are multiple chances to check them out.
Featuring the world’s largest digital screen – Viva Vision – the series starts with country music stars Parmalee and rolls through an impressive list of acts.
Fremont Street Experience is a pedestrian-only stretch with shops, bars, restaurants, casinos and live performers under a canopy featuring nearly 12 million LED lights. It was The Strip before The Strip so don’t let the concert dates limit you to visiting this fun location.

Proceeds from the auction benefit the National Elk Refuge where the antlers are gathered after shedding and no elk are harmed in the lead up to the event.
Stick around the following day for the High Noon Chili Cookoff at the Jackson Hole Town Square, where $20 gets you a sample spoon to try all the chili you can, plus a beer to finish it off.

One of the biggest country music festivals in the country, Carolina Country Music Fest is held at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk within the Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place. Headliners such as Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban and The Marshall Tucker Band will be on stage over the three days, with five stages set up over the 18-acre event site.
In all, over 30 acts are booked for June, and as this is a ticketed event you’ll want to make your decision as early as you can since the 2021 event sold out.
