FAQ About Wyndham Smoky Mountain Timeshares

How Far is Wyndham Smoky Mountains Sevierville TN?

Wyndham Smoky Mountains resort is about three miles (about a 10-minute drive) south of Sevierville. The location is great to access some of the area’s quirky attractions such as the WonderWorks Museum, Titanic Museum and the Hollywood Wax Museum. You are also just down the road from Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. Gatlinburg is about a half-hour drive from Wyndham Smoky Mountains, as is the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Is Club Wyndham Smoky Mountains Pet Friendly?

Club Wyndham Smoky Mountains does not allow pets into their timeshares, except for service animals that are allowed under federal law. This is a policy that is in place for all Wyndham timeshare resorts.

How Much Does It Cost to Go to the Smoky Mountains?

There is no charge to enter the Great Smoky Mountains National Park due to an arrangement made between the state of Tennessee and the Federal Government when the land was deeded over to the government. The Park does charge activity fees for such activities as camping and renting a pavilion for picnics or group gatherings.

Is Gatlinburg Better than Pigeon Forge?

This really depends on your activity priorities when visiting the region. Pigeon Forge is closer to Club Wyndham Smoky Mountains and has many of the attractions and entertainment venues, plus is closer to Dollywood and the associated venues such as Splash Country and Dolly Parton’s Stampede. Golf is also available in Pigeon Forge at, ironically, the Gatlinburg Golf Course.

Gatlinburg is closer to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and associated outdoor activities such as skiing and snowboarding at Ober Gatlinburg. About a 30-minute drive from Club Wyndham Smoky Mountains, you’ll find quaint shops compared to the more mainstream outlet-style shopping at Pigeon Forge. Both places feature great restaurants.

How Much Does It Cost to Walk Across the Skybridge in Gatlinburg?

One of the top experiences in the eastern Tennessee region, the Gatlinburg SkyBridge is 680 feet long and hovers 150 feet over the ground with terrific views of the surrounding mountains. Opened in 2019, the SkyBridge is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America and a must-see activity in the region. It costs $19.95 for adult admission, $14.95 for children and is free for children under 3.

What is the Best Time to Visit Smoky Mountains?

This depends on your favorite activity since this is a true four-season destination. The best time to visit for snow-related activities is obviously the winter season where visitors can ski at Ober Gatlinburg. The most popular time to visit the Smoky Mountains is during the summer, with July drawing the most visitors. This is when the hiking, bush walking, nature trails, waterfalls, fishing, mountain biking and whitewater rafting are at their best.

During Autumn, the fall foliage is spectacular and usually peaks around mid-October. Spring can be a great time for outdoor enthusiasts since this is considered the low season so rates are great and, because of the relatively mild winters compared to further north, spring can be a very pleasant time to explore the area.

How Can I Sell My Wyndham Smoky Mountains Timeshare?

You have a few options to sell your Wyndham Smoky Mountains timeshare, depending on how involved you want to be in the process. Some owners like to be more hands on and handle the promotion, negotiation and closing of the deal. Other owners would rather hire a firm to sell it for them.

If you would like to handle the process yourself, you can try using social media like Facebook or Instagram to let people know you have a Wyndham Smoky Mountains timeshare for sale. You would handle all aspects of the sale yourself, but do buyers really look for timeshares in these places? That’s the main question since it is all about finding someone to buy your timeshare.

One place we know consumers search is online using specific timeshare-related search terms. This is where using an online advertising company specializing in timeshare resales can help you sell your timeshare. The company would market it for you but you would still be responsible for negotiating the sale and handling the paperwork. The primary drawback is that you would pay the cost of advertising in advance, so you would be paying regardless of whether you sell your timeshare.

Hiring a licensed timeshare broker is the preferred method of selling Wyndham timeshares because there are no upfront fees to pay to sell timeshare. Owners list their timeshare and a licensed agent takes care of the rest, from finding the buyer to negotiation, completing the paperwork and working with a closing company to complete the deal.
