At Disney's Beach Club Villas, guests find themselves surrounded by gracious elegance. Staying at this timeshare resort is a unique opportunity to experience a grand beachside resort that is located in the heart of the sprawling Disney World complex.

Disney's Beach Club Villas are part of the Disney Vacation Club. Boasting villa-style accommodations, you will find that guests have plenty of room to stretch out and relax in units that are just like home. Because the resort features Disney timeshares, you know that you will get all sorts of great amenities during your stay.

Why Stay Onsite at Disney World?

When you choose to stay at this or other timeshare resorts on the Disney World property, you get all sorts of advantages. For instance, there's no better way to stay closer to the resort's four theme parks and two water parks.

Both the Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios parks are within walking distance of this particular Disney timeshare resort, although the walk to Hollywood Studios is a bit longer at about 25 minutes, compared to the 5-10 walk to Epcot. The other attractions in Disney World such as the Magic Kingdom are available via bus and a variety of other convenient transportation options.

It is also worth noting that guests of Disney World resorts gain early theme park entry on designated days, giving them an extra half-hour to enjoy the parks before off-property guests begin arriving. Disney resort guests also receive extended evening theme park hours on special occasions, with select park rides and attractions, restaurants and shops available only to guests of Disney resorts.

Another advantage to staying at Disney World is the MagicBand contactless process. MagicBands function as the room key to your Disney hotel room, your ticket into the theme parks and a payment method throughout Disney World.

Disney resort guests also have the option of adding a dining plan to their vacation package. This program makes it possible to prepay for meals and snacks at restaurants and kiosks throughout the resort.

Why Stay at Disney's Beach Club Villas?

In addition to offering outstanding proximity to the theme parks, this resort boasts Stormalong Bay. This outdoor, year-round destination features all sorts of fun for the whole family.

Complete with a life-size shipwreck that boasts an unforgettable slide, your family will be able to explore a lazy river and several lagoons and pools. Three whirlpool spas help you relax and forget your troubles, or you might decide to enjoy a nap on the elevated tanning deck.

The main pool has an actual sandy beach that offers a gently sloping entrance to the water, and there are even two kiddie pools for little ones.

Another reason to choose Disney's Beach Club Villas is that it is located on Crescent Lake. Accordingly, the resort includes a marina at which you can rent a motorized pontoon boat, suitable for piloting across the water for spectacular views of the theme parks, other resorts and the gorgeous landscaping.

This resort also is a fantastic place to get in a little exercise. Choose bike rentals, go walking or jogging or play a few games of tennis or volleyball. Thanks to the amenities at this resort, guests can play together for as long as they like.

Guests also may explore several enticing dining options at Disney's Beach Club Villas. The main restaurant is Cape May Café, an eatery serving casual American fare for three meals a day. Breakfast is a family-style, all-you-care-to-eat event that is complete with favorite Disney characters visiting at your table. Lunch and dinner offer all sorts of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes, perfect for satisfying every appetite.

Other dining options at this resort include the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, the Beach Club Marketplace and Hurricane Hanna's Grill. Martha's Vineyard boasts quick-service dining as well as a lounge. Room service is available too, and the Disney company offers a grocery service if you prefer to prepare some meals in your luxurious villa.

Staying at a Disney Timeshare

As mentioned earlier, Disney's Beach Club Villas are part of the Disney timeshare operation called Disney Vacation Club. You can certainly stay here if you have purchased DVC points, but other guests are welcome as well. Anyone can stay at a Disney timeshare as long as villas are available, but keep in mind that the rates can be expensive compared to DVC resale prices.

If you do own a timeshare through Disney, then it is a good idea to know how many Disney points are needed for your stay. You can reserve a deluxe studio starting at 15 points per night while one-bedroom villas begin at 27 points per night. A two-bedroom villa is 37 points per night as is a two-bedroom lock-off villa.

At an estimated $150 per point as a resale (compared to $245 per point through Disney), that’s about $200 a night over a 20-year ownership period as an entry price to stay in a one-bedroom. Even adding in the annual fees, the cost increases to about $400 a night.

Compare that to the booking rates advertised on TripAdvisor for $842 a night and you can see the value in owning Disney timeshare at Beach Club Villas.

Resort Accommodations

You will enjoy fantastic surroundings no matter which room type you select. The deluxe studios sleep up to five guests with one queen-sized bed, one double-sized foldout sofa and a pull-down bed for one. Overlooking either a courtyard or the Dunes Cove Leisure Pool, these studios include a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave and basic utensils.

If you decide to upgrade to a more spacious one-bedroom villa, you'll be able to accommodate four guests. One king-sized bed and one-queen-sized foldout sofa are included. If you are booking with Disney points, the resort will allow you to add a fifth guest.

Views from the windows of one-bedroom villas include the courtyard, pool, and the resort itself. Villas have full kitchens including a dishwasher and all other necessities. You also get a washer and dryer and soaking tub in your villa.

This resort also has the option of two-bedroom villas that can sleep either eight or nine guests. These accommodations feature two full bathrooms, a complete kitchen and two balconies. If you are traveling with a larger group or just want some extra privacy, then this is definitely the way to go.

Getting to the Parks

Cinderella's Castle Magic Kingdom

The big question in most guests' minds when they stay at a Disney resort is how easy is it to get to the theme parks and other destinations like Disney Springs? As a Disney Vacation Club resort, this property is incredibly well-connected with all other points within the resort.

You can walk to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, but you also can take a leisurely boat ride. Disney's Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom parks are accessible via the convenient and complimentary bus service as are Disney Springs and the two water parks.

If the bus doesn't appeal to you on a certain day, you can always catch a ride with the Disney Minnie Van Service. At Epcot, you can also board the monorail to get to the other parks. Guests can also obtain a rental car, especially if they plan to explore more of Orlando beyond Disney World.

What Else Can You Do in Orlando?

Disney timeshare owners and guests may spend their entire vacation surrounded by Disney magic, but some decide to wander farther afield. This is actually a fantastic idea, because Orlando has a great deal to offer.

One of the most popular attractions in the area is the Universal Orlando Resort. Including two theme parks known as Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure, the resort also includes Universal's Volcano Bay, a deluxe water park.

The SeaWorld Orlando theme park features thrill rides and opportunities to learn about exotic underwater life. You also might want to enjoy the exciting water park known as Aquatica or take an extraordinary opportunity to interact with wildlife at Discovery Cove.

Don't forget that Florida also is the home of LegoLand Florida, a delightful theme park for kids of all ages.

Of course, Orlando has more to take in than theme parks. Perhaps you will see opportunities to go fishing or kayaking, stroll along a nature trail or take an exciting airboat ride. Natural springs are waiting to be discovered, and a variety of ecotours are available in the area.

Visit the premier malls, which are The Florida Mall and The Mall at Millenia or find unique bargains at shopping areas like Lake Buena Vista Factory Stories, Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets and Orlando International Premium Outlets.

Looking for some unique shopping experiences? Head to neighborhoods like Winter Park and downtown Orlando. These areas also are great for finding one-of-a-kind dining, art galleries and much more.

Although most people come to this area to experience Disney World, you'll find that there is much more to discover if you have the time. Staying in a timeshare at Disney's Beach Club Villas is the perfect idea if you want a luxurious, soothing place to relax and unwind after the excitement of Orlando's many attractions.
